Cielito Lindo opened its doors in 2001, making a dream come true for Juan & Rosa Gascon. Juan knew he wanted to do something extraordinary in culinary arts from a young age, but little did he know, his culinary expertise would launch him into an adventure in the dining industry in the heart of Orcutt, California.

The Gascon Family ventured into the restaurant business with determination and passion for success. With confidence and 5 years of experience working in local restaurants, they took a blind leap of faith and opened a place of their own. The Gascon’s have been the original and only owners of Cielito Lindo since first opening its doors.
 

As new entrepreneurs, Juan & Rosa quickly built a name for Cielito Lindo becoming one of the top restaurants in the area; winning #1 Best Salsa Award, Best Taco Tuesday, and Best Mexican Restaurant of the Central Coast for many consecutive years. Our goal is to continue serving the  most fresh & authentic taste of Mexico for our valued customers.
